Is Tom suffering, while he is in the shadow of Bill?

TH-singer Bill is always in the foreground, and steals all shows! His twin brother Tom is always second. Nevertheless, he has just as much charisma and personality as Bill! Is Tom holding back on purpose or is he really suffering, because of the fact that Bill is always number on?

Thank you, we are just so incredibly happy with this award! – Bill holds the award, smiles, shines, waves. Tokio Hotel are honoured as “best live-act” at Eins live Krone, and singer Bill is obviously enjoying this moment of glory. He holds the prize up high, takes all the applause and screams from the fans, and all photographers now point there camera’s at Bill.
Gustav and Georg, extra’s forever, always stand two steps behind Bill, but one step behind him is Tom. He looks unmoved, has his hands deep in his pockets, just waves a little pointless around and looks uninterested. A similar scene just an half our before this: Tokio Hotel are posing for the photographers, Bill moves himself to the foreground and makes himself seen. His brother Tom can just nearly look over his shoulder…..
The scenes in the last few weeks and months are just the same: Bill Kaulitz (17) always stands in the middle, receives the awards, gives thank you speeches, is surrounded by paparazzi and is on the cover of every teen magazine. More and more often Bill is doing stuff on his own like the Arthur and the Minimoys movie. Also a lot of reader’s of starflash have noticed that there is way more written about Bill then about his twin brother Tom. That was a lot different in the beginning when Tom and Bill were presented as super twins. We admit, Tom has got just as much personality and star-potential as Bill. Also his style is copied by fans, also he is surrounded by beautiful girls. Starflash reader Anna-Marie writes: ”Bill always takes the spotlight and Tom just has got to step back, that’s not fair!”
Also on tour there is one point of attention: Bill! He is the one that makes the show. Tom is standing on the side and isn’t presented once to the fans during the show. What an humiliation! Talking about it, hasn’t Tom got a problem with his place in the second row. “This way I don’t have many stress and I can focus on doing my thing on stage”, he laughs. None of the both wanna confess it but Tom is in Bill shadow more and more.
How long can this still go well?
Tom and Bill (1.9.1989) know each other extremely well. Since the day they were born they haven’t been apart a lot. Normally the lives of twins is also full of competition. About grades, who has his first girlfriend, the first sex – clearly, Tom and Bill have the be competitive to each other. There just has to be some stress, jealousy and envy. While Tom is ahead with the girls (he says he has slept with more then 25 girls), his brother Bill has beaten him with there career. He was in the show “Star-search”, did a voice in “Arthur and the minimoys” and did a solo photo shoot with fashion magazine “Max”. Even when it comes to the show the most annoying German Bill betas his brother. How different they are is now clearly see able. Till they were nine years old they dressed the same, and had the same hair. Then it changes: Bill tries more outstanding clotheses and a more remarkable hair style. Tom became a cool skater boy. He got his hair changed, and only wear XXL clotheses. From the outside the twins are like fire and water, but together they have been through it all. Youth psychologist, Hannes Niggenaber: “These two just love and hate each other. They can’t live without each other talk like one another. And still they look very steady!” What can happen can clearly be seen when you look at the Olsen-twins: Mary-Kate was under her sisters pressure and became depressed. Now, she and Ashley live thousand of miles away from each other and go there separate ways. Can that happen to Tom and Bill too? Possible, even though it seems impossible now because the band means too much to them. They plan to live together in the near future. Nevertheless: there will come a day that Tom is sick and tired of his second position in Bill’s shadow. Then they can become competition to each other and go there separate ways with solo-projects and see who has the most fans, hits and the best chart position.

Ceux la ne sont pas scanner par moi mais sinon, les magazines allemands sont assez courament vendu chez moi (j'habite ne Belgique et dans un quartier allemand en plus ^^').
